چکیده

Numerical simulation is an efficient method to quantitatively describe the reservoir dynamics of coalbed methane (CBM) reservoirs. The ideal steeply inclined model (ISIM), assumed be a plate, has been widely applied in steep modeling, although ISIM cannot accurately reflect actual geological conditions. In this paper, CBM production and reservoirs using (ASIM) were compared, taking coal Fukang mining area located northwestern China as example, with purpose revealing differences applicability ASIM ISIM. established by Petrel software, was matched predicted Eclipse software. Data reflecting dynamics, such water saturation, pressure, gas content, extracted. dynamic changes physical properties also compared. results showed that: 1) multiple peaks occurred both maximum daily earlier than peak cumulative greater 2) Due variations grid shape dip angle each ASIM, effect better third stage (4–10 years) drainage. 3) drainage, decrease rate pressure larger because relatively performance ASIM. 4) Differentiation dominated variation trend higher recovery efficiency compared Compared proposed previous scholars, more helpful monitor behavior reservoirs, can provide reliable basis for guiding development.

Gravity current down a steeply inclined slope in a rotating fluid

The sinking of dense water down a steep continental slope is studied using laboratory experiments, theoretical analysis and numerical simulation. The experiments were made in a rotating tank containing a solid cone mounted on the tank floor and originally filled with water of constant density. A bottom gravity current was produced by injecting more dense coloured water at the top of the cone. T...

Experiment and Dynamic Simulation of Cervical Tractions in Inclined and

This study aims to validate the accuracy of a cervical traction therapy simulation model by comparing the intervertebral separations of six asymptomatic male adults when traction was applied to their cervical spines. The subjects were tested on two mechanical traction devices, representing the inclined and sitting positions. A total of 55 radiographic images of their cervical spines were taken ...

Determination of a suitable extraction equipment in mechanized longwall mining in steeply inclined coal seams using fuzzy analytical hierarchy method (Case study: Hamkar coal mine, Iran)

The longwall mining method is one of the most applied methods in extracting low-inclined to high-inclined coal seams. Selection of the most suitable extraction equipment is very important in the economical, safety, and productivity aspects of mining operations. There are a lot of parameters affecting the selection of an extraction equipment in mechanized longwall mining in steeply inclined coal...

Body Force Model for the Aerodynamics of Inclined Perforated Surfaces

This is a joint experimental and computational research effort on the aerodynamics of perforated surfaces inclined to a freestream. The goal is to characterize the key parameters affecting the flowfield in order to construct a macroscopic computational model that obviates resolution of the detailed perforations. The model simulates the effects of the perforated surfaces by locally applying a bo...

Interaction of Dynamic Cracks with Inclined Interfaces

Catastrophic failure of any brittle structure under dynamic loading consists of dynamic crack initiation, propagation, curving, branching (both micro and macro) and branching instability. However, the failure is much more complex in case of layered materials which has interfaces. In these materials, other than above crack mechanisms the crack can also deflect to propagate along the interface or...
